Basic accounting jobs? bookkeeping?

What are some accounting jobs that a 1st/2nd year undergrad student can apply for? is bookkeeping one or does that require some certificate?

Bookkeeping jobs as far as I know do require previous bookkeeping experience, alot of vendors wouldnt like inexperience bookkeepers touching their books with a good chance of stuffing up something, even though you have to start somewhere...

i reckon best you apply similar jobs via your uni's job portal for starters and also look up some volunteering roles either on the uni portal or seek website to get you some experience to kick start your career... (if you dont have work experience related to what you are looking for...) you also probably missed 'summer' intern-ship too as from memory you have to apply sometime before mid year, you still have a good chance to score a under/post grad intern-ship in your final year depending when you actually graduate... (depending your GPA level...)
